The Best Sunscreen for Oily-Acne Prone Skin: Neutrogena Ultra Sheer® Dry-Touch Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 45 Review

Helloooo gorgeous,

Before I know how important sunscreen for our skin, I only use it for extreme sunlight involving activities, such as swimming & playing at the beach. But now as I got fine lines (sobs), using AHA that makes my skin photosensitive and also anti-aging skin care which are useless without sun protection, sunscreen has become my essential product.
But the problem is, I don't like the heavy and greasiness feeling from sunscreen, plus it tends to give white cast and clogs my pores. Duh! So I asked uncle google whether there is a sunscreen that suits oily-acne prone skin like mine, and found so many reviewers love Neutrogena Ultra Sheer® Dry-Touch Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 45, I searched it on female daily reviews and most of the members recommended it as well. I looked for its official information to find out whether the ingredients are safe for pregnant women because I was preggy. And here is the information:

Official Description
"Our best-selling Ultra Sheer® line provides powerful sun protection you will love to wear. It goes on easily and absorbs quickly for an invisible, light-weight feel on your skin. Formulated with Helioplex® Technology, it offers superior broad spectrum protection from aging UVA rays and burning UVB rays."
-Non-comedogenic (won't clog pores)
-PABA-free
-Lightweight, non-greasy feel
-Fast absorbing

HOW TO USE
Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure
Reapply:
After 80 minutes of swimming or sweating
Immediately after towel drying

Wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses

The pregnancy-safe ingredients list -checked, their claims are very intriguing, plus it's water resistant (I planned to swim regularly throughout my pregnancy), so I was sold. I opened my Shopee app, and so happy there was a couple of sellers who sell this product and of course chose the cheaper one.
Now I've been using this sunscreen for almost a year, and here is Neutrogina Ultra Sheer® Dry-Touch Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 45 review:

Packaging: the packaging is standard sunscreen tube with all the helpful information described.

Scent: It has that typical sunscreen scent but not too strong, but I like this scent bcs it reminds me of beach and vacation lol

Texture: it's white cream, heavier than moisturizer but lighter than other western brand sunblock creams I've ever tried, but still some korean sunscreens are lighter. However it absorbs fast, and if I missed to smooth some spots it'll dried out and become white patch(?) that peels once rubbed. One layer is sheer, feels light and caused no whitecast.. but 2 layers are heavy and whenever I touch my face the sunscreen is peeled of. So 1 layer is enough.
Performance: it's good and gives matte finish, but after a few hours my face is oily again but that is acceptable, since it's less greasy than other sunscreens I've tried. I haven't tried to use it at the beach or other places with intense sun exposure, so I cant say whether it makes me free frm sunburn, but for daily use it gives me enough protection. This is how my face look with Neutrogina Ultra Sheer® Dry-Touch Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 45 (no foundation or powder whatsoever):
Neutrogena Ultra-Sheer sunscreen also didn't break me out, which is the most important thing of any beauty product.

Pro(s):
+Affordable
+Pregnancy-safe ingredients
+High SPF
+Light texture
+Matte finish in the beginning & not heavily greasy in the end
+Doesn't cause any breakouts

Con(s):
-Difficult to find in Indonesia & Netherlands (some online shops in Indonesia sell it tho)

Verdict: HG! overall I'm satisfied and this is so far is the best sunscreen for my oily-acne prone skin.

Repurchase: Definitely yes!

Price: IDR 180.000

Where to buy: I bought it from Shopee, but if you can't find it Belanjamimo also sells it.

Thanks for reading my post!

Love,

Iya ini light dan yg aku suka hasilnya matte.. kalau korean (mungkin Japanese) sun screen meskipun light kan hasilnya dewy2 dimana jatuhnya di aku jadinya oily hihihi.. Thanks udah mampir xx
