Review: J.One Jelly Pack the All-in-One Skin Care

If you always rush every morning because your office/school is far from home, or your fave morning workout is hitting the snooze button, or if you are a mom (I'm actually talking about myself here), the idea of having a whole morning skin care routine in 1 product is heaven. I know there were already some products available that included essence, serum & moisturizer in 1 go.. But I was so thrilled when I found that there is one product that not only acts more than the whole AM skin care routine, but also as mask and primer at the same time.. It's J.One Jelly Pack. Can you believe it?

I was also skeptical at first, but when Nikkie Tutorials declared it as one of her fave product, I was damn curious! But I still got a box full of skin care that I hoarded, and 3 unopened primers.. so I just held my desire to buy it. Then luckily, last week I got one to try on from Beureka.

Before I really tried the product, I looked up its reviews on the internet, and found out that J.One cosmetics line is invented by Ha Ji Won, the flawless Korean actress.

Soo many great ingredients and even it's not mentioned on the key ingredients, I also spotted my fave active: niacinamide!

Packaging: J.One Jelly Pack comes with a black colored box, and the product itself is wrapped in a solid matte white, clean-designed bottle which made of sturdy plastic with pump dispenser (my fave kind of hygiene dispenser). I kinda wish the bottle was transparent so I'd know when my product is abt to run out, but when I think again this solid white color looks soo sophisticated. Since the product amount is 50ml, it is very travel friendly. There are also downsides though, the cap is fragile that it cracked when my daughter dropped it (when I was unboxing lol) and both the bottle and the box has no English description, everything is in Korean so I need to google up to check on the direction of use and ingredients.

Scent: Even though J.One Jelly pack doesn't contain fragrance, it has a refreshing scent that I quite enjoy

Texture: The texture is kinda funny, it's so gluey, it feels like honey or peel of mask, I admit it's kinda tricky to spread evenly. I learned that the best way is to spread gently the generous amount of the jelly pack and carry on with positive affirmations patting lol (like how Ha Ji Won demonstrated).

But because of its unique texture, it requires a bit more of product than other primer / moisturizer, I personally need around 4-5 pumps for my entire face (excluding neck)

Performance: I've tried it for both morning skin care treatment + make up primer and sleeping pack. As AM skin care treatment and primer, I really tried it after I cleanse my face without any other skin care in between. Just like what other bloggers said, this Jelly Pack is really sticky and greasy upon application, and it takes a quite long time to absorb, around 2 minutes in my case (in dry & cool weather).
The first time I tried it for make up primer I only applied it to the half side of my face to really measure the performance, but the obvious difference I noticed was my make up pigmentation was enhanced with the primer, and as I observed more, I found that the pores on the side of my face with the J.One Jelly Pack looked smoother than the other side. I tried to have a stroll outside with it when the weather was windy and humid, and by the end of the day I've been wearing make up for almost 9 hours I could really notice the difference (too bad I forgot to take a picture, but you can watch my video to see the comparison!), the side that primered with J.One Jelly Pack still looking good while my foundation on the other side without primer was a bit faded. I was curious and I asked my hubby the difference between my right and left side of my face, and he said the left side (no primer) looks kinda rough and the right side (with J.One Jelly Pack) looks more natural. Whoa.. even my man could notice!

When I tried J.One Jelly Pack as a sleeping pack, I still used my serum before hand followed by the pack. I actually was kinda afraid that it will break my skin out, but fortunately the next morning no new pimple appeared and I believe my face looked more glowy and a wee brighter, not as dull as usual.

+ Pump packaging makes it hygiene & pretty at the same time

+ Doesn't break me out

+ Hydrating enough and at the same time doesn't make my face oilier

+ Makes my make up looks more natural & stays longer

+ Enhances the pigmentation of my make up (blush on, in this case) 

+ Travel friendly

Con(s):

- Need extra waiting time (2 mins) for the product to absorb, but hey, you can do something else and become more productive instead ;)

- The texture is funny & sticky, hence requires more amount than ordinary primer 

-The cap is quite fragile, it cracked when my daughter dropped it

Verdict: Looking at the performance, I became in love with this product. J.One Jelly Pack has been my morning savior whenever I have to put my make up on. I really like this product because it's a truly multi-tasking product that delivers its claims very well, it doesn't break me out or makes my skin oilier. And thanks to its multi-tasking, I can save up so much space for my toiletries bag when I have to travel. I recommend anyone who always rushes in the morning to try this product. It's worth it!
