REVIEW: Absolute New York Icon Eyeshadow Palette Twilight & Lip Mousse Lavish + Launching Event

Hello again, gorgeous!

Absolute New York is now in Jakarta, all the way from the big apple!

Udah pernah denger merk Absolute New York? Buat yang follow instagram aku, mungkin udah ya.. Tanggal 17 Mei 2017 lalu, aku dapat invitation dari Clozette Indonesia untuk menghadiri launching & opening of Absolute New York first store di Indonesia, tepatnya di Grand Indonesia lv. 3, Jakarta, bersama dengan clozetters dan blogger lain.

Absolute New York merupakan brand make up yang terinspirasi dari warna warni & kecantikan kota New York yang memiliki filosofi Make Up United dengan menyatukan perempuan2 di NYC (di Jakarta juga yes) yang memiliki culture berbeda-beda melalui beauty & make up. Sebelum membuka gerai di Jakarta di bawah naungan PT. Teguh Pesona (yg juga menaungi VOV & The Balm), Absolute New York sudah ada di 75 negara di seluruh dunia.

Acara launchingnya sendiri seru banget, dihadiri langsung oleh CEOnya, Mr. Alex Chung, ada photobooth dan DJnya juga.

Aku seneng banget muter-muterin studionya yang tertata rapi, dan pas coba-coba produknya, their pigmentation is beyond awesome! And you know whattt… their price is very much affordable, mulai dari 75rb rupiah aja!

And thanks to Absolute New York Indonesia & Clozette Indonesia, aku bisa bawa pulang 1 Lip Mousse + 1 Icon Eyeshadow Palette. Sebenarnya aku suka banget sama Lip Mousse shade Ginger karena warnanya passss banget sama nude yang aku cari selama ini. Tapi entah kenapa, ini lebih powdery dan lebih cepat smudge dari si Lavish, jadi yang aku pilih Lavish deh..

LIP MOUSSE

Packaging: Simple & mungil, pas dikantong kalau lagi malas bawa tas hehe. Doe applicatornya juga ok buat aplikasi lip moussenya dengan presisi.

Scent: Agak wangi2 fruity gitu, enak kok dan gak mengganggu

Texture: Seperti namanya, teksturnya mirip sama mousse, untuk shade lavish ini easily spread & pigmented banget. Finishnya powdery matte.

Performance: Kalau sudah kering gak gampang smudge (kecuali kalau sengaja digosok-gosok ya, which is ngapain juga), dibawa makan kuah-kuah / makanan berminyak luntur sih.. tapi ninggalin stain yang menurut aku tjakep!

Icon Eyeshadow Palette yang aku pilih adalah versi Twilight, karena warnanya cantik bangettt..

Packaging: Terbuat dari alumunium dan dilengkapi dengan cermin yang cukup wide + dual side brush buat dabbing & blending, which is sooooo helpful. Enak banget dipakenya! Kemasan boxnya juga didesain cantik.

Texture: They glides on smoothly, dan dari 12 warna, kecuali warna hitam yang finishingnya satin, semuanya shimmery. here are the swatches:

Performance: Pigmentasinya juara banget mengingat harganya yang sangat ramah di kantong. It also doesn’t crease dan tahan lama, 8 jam masih bagus padahal aku gak pakai eye primer.
