Review: Ageha Lunatia Softlenses in Grey

I’m backkk..!

And now I’ll be reviewing my supah fave softlenses: Ageha Lunatia in Grey.

I ordered this brand from Japan Softlens website, and I personally love their service.. The marketing was friendly, the price was good, we could choose different minus for each eye in one pair, and the shipping was faster than expected (they shipped from Bali).. If I’m not mistaken it only took about 3 days and I already got the package.

The package contains:

From top-left clockwise: Softlens case (freebie), Bracelet (souvenir), the box -kawaii style hehe, manual instruction – I didn’t bother reading it since they are all in Japanese!, pinset (free again, yay!), and the lenses.

First I would like to let you know that I am short sighted, right eye got -3.25 and left eye got -3.75 *sob*. But I kinda hate seeing my face with glasses. So I often wear softlenses for going out, esp when I wanna wear sunnies.
But just like hair dye, it’s been quite ages since the last time I wore colored lenses.  As far as I could remember, I have been avoiding wearing those since they made my eyes tired way more than using clear softlenses. And for the same reason of dyeing my hair, my wedding make up artist suggested me to wear colored lenses for prewedding photoshoots since the eye make up gonna be real smokey..
So I searched for the most comfortable colored lenses on google and saw soooo many Indonesian blogger praising this one, why don’t give it a try, then?

But anyway I didn’t use the case, since the solution leaked everywhere.

Here is the closer look for the lenses, inside and out:

They got three tone color, black for the outer ring, then grey and light brown + black for the inner ring which look perfectly natural on my eyes (and every blogger I saw).

Eye to eye comparison:

And when I tried them on for the first time, I was really surprised because they felt lekkerder (yummier) than clear softlenses (I used acuvue previously). I didn’t apply lens drops for 6 hours but my eyes still felt okay..
But after 8 hours, my eyes were eventually dry and tired (and red!).. even with eye drops :( and another minus, you need to put them on precisely.. otherwise you’ll look like you got abnormal eyes; one looking to other direction from another. But those are the only turn downs..

I personally have re-purchased this, because I made the first pair completely dried (I lost my lens solution, case and eyedrops on my wedding day).. But I have been enjoying them as my eyes company for 6 months for my special occasions like meeting with clients, party or weekends (I wear glasses for ordinary days). And I love how they enhance my make up pretty well…
Another good reason, they can last up to 6 months. But anyhoo, I might would replace them before 6 months for hygiene reason ;)

For you who might wanna see my prewedding make up wearing these lenses, alsjeblieft:

Pro(s):
    + Comfy for less than 8 hrs wear
    + Ready stock
    + Nice color and look natural on your face
    + Cheap
    + Can choose different minus
    + The package comes with freegifts

Con(s):
    - Redden my eyes if I wear them more than 8 hrs
    - They don’t easily fit your cornea precisely, sometimes a bit more to the left, right or to the top
