Review: Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask

Hi gorgeous,

Today I'm back with another lip product: Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask Review.

I've been eye-ing on Laneige Sleeping Mask since 2 years ago after I tried their legendary Water Sleeping Pack (now mask) and felt pretty satisfied, I thought it would be awesome for my severe chapped lips. Too bad, it's always sold out at their counter everytime I asked about it. Finally, I could buy this Lip from Althea Indonesia.
Official Description:
"The NEW sleeping mask for the lips removes old skin cells from the lips, leaving them supple and smooth."
Vitamin C-rich Berry Mix ComplexTM, containing raspberry, strawberry, cranberry, blueberry extracts erases dry, flaky dead skin on the lips during the night to realize smooth and supple lips the next morning.
1. Berry Mix Complex™
Berry extracts rich in vitamin C and anti-oxidants act on dry, rough lips, making them smooth and supple.
2. MOISTURE WRAP™
Hyaluronic acid mineral network forms a moisturizing film to help lock-in active ingredients and the skin to absorb and retain moisture through the night.
3. Sweet and fruity berry fragrance
Sweet and relaxing fragrance that smells so delicious, it reminds you of real berries.

How to use
Step 1
Before going to bed, apply a liberal amount with the spatula.
※ Effect: Melts stubborn dead skin cells and provides abundant moisture to skin during nighttime.
Step 2
The next morning, gently wipe skin clean with tissue or cotton pad.
※ Effect: Makes the lips smooth and elastic by removing dead skin cells.

Packaging: the box is minimalist Lanege typical, dominated with white & blue. Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask comes in a small, pink frosted glass jar with sturdy plastic cap & rubber safety cap. It's travel friendly and looks beautiful on your vanity desk. information both on the jar & box are in Korean, meanwhile, product information in English is also provided separately on a leaflet inside the box
It comes with rubber safety cap & silicone (or rubber) spatula, so it's more hygiene.
Expire date is described on the bottom of the jar, so we can toss the box immediately
Scent: OMG I'm so falling for the scent. It smells like a strawberry chewy candy!! If you're an Indonesian 90's kid, it'd reminded you of Sugus LOL

The texture is like butter, which glides smoothly on the lips and created a rich glossy layer, my lips looked like it's been glazed when using it (I applied in generous amount)

Performance: at the first application, I thought it didn't really work because I still felt my lips were dry after I wiped the lip mask off in the morning. But after the 2nd night, Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask has become my holy grail!! My lips were hydrated for the next 2 days without lipbalm, and what made me even happier, my lips looked a bit more pinkish, not as dull and dark as before ❤

Verdict, for a lip product, 20g is considered huge and will last me more than 6 months, esp. Because I only applied it at night. Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask really does what it claims, so it's worth to buy and very much recommended for everyone who wears liquid lipstick often, or just in a need of a savior from dry and chapped lips

Repurchase? surrrrrrrreeeeely will! I think I wont be buying much lipbalm while using this lipmask

Pro(s)
+Beautiful packaging
+Smells so yummy
+Really exfoliates the lips and leaving them hydrated and more lively afterwards
+Considered huge for lip product, yet still travel friendly

Con(s):
-nothing I can think of at the moment
